  1. Overdrive Renewal Time Frame
    • March 2024-June 2025
    • July 1 – June 30
    • Would sync state contract for invoicing.
    • State contract is based on requirements from State Budget Agency
    • Libraries will potentially see a 25% increase for 2024/25 invoice to accommodate 15-month contract.
    • Jake will inquire with Overdrive about the impact to member invoices and will communicate any increases soon.
  2. Weeding
    • Weeding proposal allows CMT to go in and deal with ghost holds.
    • Proposal asks for requirement to include automatic weeding that would automatically remove expired titles.
      • Nick Stephen – Garrett PL motioned.
      • Julie Elmore – Oakland City PL seconded.
      • Motion carried with no objections or abstentions.
    • CMT team seeks permission to be granted weeding only access to ADV accounts for the purpose of monitoring weeding.
      • Sub-topic tabled to work out specifics of request.
      • MacKenzie Ledley – Pulaski PL expressed that an opt-in would make this more palatable to member libraries.
    • Holds Transfer
      • Recently, Overdrive made changes to how the Collection Management Team can transfer holds.
        • This creates a heavy burden for the Collection Management Team.
        • Inge and Christine are not requesting any action from the Advisory Committee but want to make members aware of the change.
  3. Hoopla Proposal
    • James Gonzalez from Midwest Tape sent a proposal to potentially create a statewide hoopla consortium.
    • Jake will set up meetings with James from MWT and Kaitlin from Overdrive.
